Rocky had already been working with Saucal to improve their site’s UI/UX and optimize various aspects of the backend, and we were called in to solve an elusive technical issue that was causing problems in their store. With plugins breaking, slow loading times, and database query issues, Rocky were struggling with a hard-to-pinpoint jQuery problem for a couple of months that was negatively impacting their business.

Our team was quick to get to the bottom of this problem and discovered a second instance of jQuery being loaded, causing JavaScript errors and longer load times. That’s because WooCommerce and its extensions rely on a specific version of jQuery that is enqueued by WordPress by default. Having another instance of jQuery can cause plugins and existing features to malfunction, such as product galleries, AJAX add-to-cart actions, and checkout processes.
