UML, PHP, JavaScript, SaSS, CSS, HTML, a little Bash

Where were you born?

Buenos Aires, Argentina

What was your first experience with the internet? What year was that?

It was around 1996. I was 16, and working part-time in our small family business, where I could be around computers. One day, a guy came to teach us about "the world wide web", how to access it (via dial-up) and surf it (using Netscape Navigator), and some basic HTML, which I used to create a very rudimentary website. But what really got me was IRC... when I discovered it I was like, "wow, there's people at the other end of this thing!" So, for me it was, and still is, a way to connect with people.

Who you are? What are a few key points that make you, you?

I'm a pragmatic, realistic, and very analytical person. I like to really understand things, so I usually ask a lot of questions, and I strongly believe that knowledge is to be shared. Also, I'm extremely loyal to the people I care about.

Where in the world do you like to work?

Any place with good internet. A peaceful environment with a good view helps, though.

What led you to work at Saucal?

I joined for the opportunity to play in the first league, and then I stayed because of the culture, especially the vision, which I share completely. I truly believe that SAU/CAL has a bright future, and I'm proud to do my part in shaping it.

What is your favourite activity outside of work?

Family time, wine tastings, movies, nature, travelling, and music. I also love teaching, but technically that's work :P

What is your favourite food/beverage?

I can't choose just one. I learned that even the simplest meal can be tasty and delicious (tip: the right spices make a huge difference). My beverage, though, is definitely red wine (especially Cabernet Franc, if I get to choose).

Favourite quote or song lyrics they live by (or) that best reps you?

I have two, both fairly known: "I don't want to believe. I want to know." "And bad mistakes, I've made a few. I've had my share of sand kicked in my face, but I've come through!"

Most interesting story or factoid about you?

I learned teamwork and collaboration by performing in amateur choirs and underground musicals.

There is no point in being the top scorer if your team loses the game.
