What was your first experience with the internet? What year was that?
It was around 2000, and I was a 6-year-old kid who was super excited to finally get on this magic thing called the internet. I had written down the website address that they were promoting during ad breaks on Cartoon Network. My mom helped me to open it, but it was not working, so I immediately labeled the whole thing as a useless invention and decided I will never use it again.
Who you are? What are a few key points that make you, you?
I like to make stuff and to know how stuff is made. When I watch a great movie I don't go looking for actor interviews or extra scenes I'm curious about how they made it, and what cameras, gear, and software were used. I always wanted to know how a great song was produced and mixed, how an amazing website was designed and coded, and what makes a remarkable photo stand out. That curiosity leads me on my path through life and drives my motivation to explore and learn every day.
Where in the world do you like to work?
One day a week inside a skyscraper penthouse, another in a cozy cottage in a small village, yet another on a beach or middle of a forest. Wherever is interesting, unique.
What led you to work at Saucal?
I googled ""world's best WordPress agencies"", made a list, and ordered it from what I felt was the best criteria - a group of experts that are fun to work with. Saucal was at the top of the list, applied, somehow got hired and now I'm here working amongst amazing people. But seriously I decided to apply because of [this photo](https://saucal.com/openings/).
What is your favourite food/beverage?
Spicy chicken with rice, super basic. For drinks I love vermouth and prosecco or a royal mix of both.
Favourite quote or song lyrics they live by (or) that best reps you?
"I’ll probably end up fuckin' up and make it super awkward" - Fidlar
Most interesting story or factoid about you?
Since I was 12 I loved to explore and play around with high-end software like Photoshop or Maya and after a few years, I started to understand a few of those programs. When I was 15 I even posted a "How to make a banner in Flash" on YouTube and got a decent amount of views. When I was 19 with my love for software and creativity I went to study a "new media" major at college. It sucked, I wasn't learning anything. I felt especially sorry for other people who were paying for it and had no idea how bad things are, so I did what I could to share my knowledge with them. I dropped out after 1st year and haven't heard much from most of them until one day when I got a hysterical phone call straight from their class with everyone laughing. They got a task to create a Flash banner so the first thing everyone did was google how it and click the first link that popped out in Google. Lo and behold there is my 5 years younger face explaining to them how it should be done. 6 people quit after that day.
