A prospect called me directly within 5 mins of receiving my email.

I wrote just one line “Are you still working on the mobile version of your software?”

I was curious about this company, because the software was good, but hadn’t had a design refresh since 2005. Seriously.

They were confident enough in their product to post their current client list on their site, along with full contact details.

However, the mobile version of the software was shown on an iPhone 3G and a Blackberry Torch.

He said to me:  “I love your marketing email….”

I loved that the simplicity of it was enough to move him to call me right away.

I get ton’s of emails. Business, personal, spam in both (thanks Gmail for organizing that).

The ones that get their message out quickly and efficiently capture my attention and call me to action.
